Our course allows students to build naturally on the knowledge gained through their GCSE, but it will also enrich their understanding of the changing world of the 21st century both on a local and global scale by keeping up to date with current geographical events.

This course will help you develop transferable skills such as essay writing and also flexible thinking, as well as provide you with field work experience through a residential week in the Lake District. 

Our course will enable students to progress forward onto Higher Education if chosen into fields such as; Geography or Science. Geography graduates are employed in a wide range of sectors, including the public sector, education, industry, transport and tourism as well as law.

Qualification: A-level Geography

Exam board: OCR

You will be assessed through examinations and a Geographical Investigation.
